Campus Improvement Day

Saturday, April 1

There is a lot of work to be done this Campus Improvement Day and we certainly cannot do it alone!

On the agenda:

The outer courtyard needs a lot of help with weeds and pine needles so that our kindergarten classes have access to outdoor learning. The inner courtyard continues its transformation into a colorful, clean area conducive to learning! This day, mulch and soil for student planters will be added. The planters around our front sign is getting a facelift with some new plants! And as always, community art projects allow students to leave their mark on their elementary campus.

How can you help? Join us!

There is so much to do, so bring the whole family on April 1! There are ways for absolutely everyone to help! Fun activities are planned for student participation including Birdhouse Painting and contributing to the Weaving Wall and Painted Rock Garden! Did we mention there will be yummy snacks?

Donate Recycled Materials!

We are always collecting bright and colorful materials for our Weaving Wall, especially colorful plastic shopping bags. Other great materials: colorful cloth, bells, beads, string, ribbon, bottle caps, etc.

Lend a tool or truck!

Do you have any of the following?  Please consider letting us borrow:

  • Blowers
  • Rakes
  • Large shovels
  • Wheel Barrow
  • Tarps
  • Hedge clippers
  • Lopping shears

Please bring these to the school on or before Campus Improvement Day.

We need two parents with trucks willing to take a load of leaves and other yard waste to the dump.

From all of us at the PTA and school, THANK YOU!  We accomplish great things when we work together!
